Compressed Natural Gas International Pty Ltd, CNGI, is an Australian company, a specializing practice that provides independent Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) transportation services to the international energy market.

 

CNGI is headed by Managing Director, Captain Alan Thom a Master Mariner and Maritime Consultant with over thirty-five years experience in the maritime and transport industries. The CNGI team are a highly experienced and dynamic group of individuals with expertise and extensive experience in their respective fields. CNGI, along with associates and strategic partners, offers a tremendous depth of expertise and the professional capabilities for providing total CNG transport solutions and associated services. For marine, this encompasses ocean, coastal and inland river transportation operations and for land, both road and rail transportation.

 

CNGI can provide an individual service or combination of services from its services menu or a total project package of evaluation, project design, implementation and ongoing operation of CNG transportation - complete project consultancy, development and ongoing operations management.

Marine CNG Transportation

 

CNGI's services cover three fundamental streams in a marine CNG project: Upstream Export: Onshore, Fixed gas delivery compression facility and near-shore loading buoy-terminal or, offshore, Floating Production Storage and Offloading (FPSO) / Floating Gas Production and Offloading (FGPO) platforms. Midstream Transport: The CNG marine transport system. CNG carrier fleet for volume optimized gas deliveries. CNG tanker ships are designed for each project requirements. Downstream Import: The near-shore unloading buoy-terminal facilities. The onshore gas decompression and receiving station facilities.

 

CNG Land Transportation

 

CNGI also provides services for bulk CNG road, and rail, transportation projects. Services cover the three principal components of the gas delivery chain system, the loading compression station, CNG transportation system to market and unloading decompression station and storage. CNGI has developed its own CNG road-trailer.
